Financial peace of mind is knowing how to support the lifestyle and the people you care about.

Our process is designed to give you the context, information and support you need to carry that peace of mind as you’re busy living.

Financial Planning

Financial Planning is the ongoing practice of evaluating three key factors:

  • Where you are today financially, yes, and also…are you enjoying the ride?
  • Where you want to go and who/what is there with you?
  • The adjustments that will help you get there while still enjoying “today”

Throughout this process, our job is to help you maintain financial clarity providing guidance and education on how different financial levers in your life can impact your long-term picture.

Money isn’t everything. But it can determine your capacity to live the life you enjoy most as well as the legacy you leave behind for those you care about.

Every year, we’ll talk broadly about the big picture of your life. We’ll ask how things are going right now, what financial worries you have, what you imagine for the future, what lifestyle changes you want to make, what people and causes you want to support (or stop supporting), and more.

We’ll unpack the items that arise from our conversation and work together to prioritize resulting action steps. In quieter years where less is changing for you personally, we’ll continue monitoring the various areas of your financial life to keep them alignment with your needs. We’ll play quarterback for your other financial professionals whenever action is needed.

Here are core areas of planning we touch on throughout the year (tap or click each topic panel for more details):

Where can I pull cash from if there's an emergency?

Do I need to worry about estate tax?

Financial Planning Process

During the initial onboarding process, we create a basic preliminary financial plan capturing your current financial picture, goals, and higher-importance action items.

We then prioritize our way through the action items that emerge from that process, including education and discussion surrounding the role of investment management in your financial journey.

Once we’re settled in together and we’ve addressed the major action items from our initial plan, we shift to an annual service calendar.

Of course, when questions, concerns, opportunities and transition events arise, we’re here to help you dig into the details of whatever’s on your mind at any time.
